Sending a Mail/Care Package

When an inmate is in the Deaf Smith County Youth Home, you can send them letters. These letters cannot contain many things.

Keep in mind if you start having too many infractions while sending an inmate's mail, you may lose the privilege of sending them letters in the future. You will want to refrain from sending anything that is NOT allowed or permitted in the Deaf Smith County Youth Home.

All money orders must be sent using the United States Postal Service. Any money orders that is sent using other carriers will not be accepted.

Please have the inmate’s name and their identification number on the money order as well.
