Sending Money

Inmates may ask you to send them money. They are not asking you to send them money for them to blow it on whatever their hearts desire. They are asking for this money, so they can purchase items they will need from the Clark County Jail commissary.

If you live local, it is easy to deposit funds into their account. You can bring down a money order to the Clark County Jail with the inmate’s name on it and they will be able to deposit it there for you. The funds should be officially deposited into the inmate’s account within a day or two.

Phone calls

The Clark County Jail recognizes that inmates need a solid support system on the outside. So, when they get off the facility, they have a great support system to come home to, so they will likely not offend in the future.

Therefore, the Clark County Jail allows inmates to use the telephones daily. The only time they cannot use the telephones during the facilities count time or when the facility is under lockdown.

Inmates will be permitted to make collect calls home. These calls can last up to 15-minutes in length.
