Sending Money

While an inmate is in the Raleigh Jail, they will NOT need any money. If an inmate is requesting money, please do not send it. Your money will be returned.

If you believe an inmate is trying to pay off their court or arrest fees, you will need to contact the police department to find the correct protocol to pay off those fees.

Phone calls

The only thing an inmate will be able to do is use the telephone. The telephone will be available during a few hours in the day. The phone calls will all be collected calls.

Inmates will receive a free call when they are going through the booking process as well.

Visitation

The Raleigh Jail does not allow visitation here. You will need to wait until the inmate is in a more long-term place before you will be able to go to that facility to visit them.
