The Dawson County Regional Prison is an all adult inmate facility. The Dawson County Regional Prison is a medium-security facility in Glendive, Montana.

The Dawson County Regional Prison received and released inmates daily. Most of the inmates have either just been arrested or they are going through their trial.

The Dawson County Regional Prison serves the entire county. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is the agency responsible for overseeing the day to day operations at the Dawson County Regional Prison.

All inmates in the Dawson County Regional Prison are over the age of 18. No juveniles will be brought here.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Visitation

Live local to the Dawson County Regional Prison? Want to visit an inmate in the Dawson County Regional Prison? You can come on down Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm. Visitation does not happen on Saturdays and Sundays.

Prior to visiting an inmate, you will need to have your government issued. If you are bringing a juvenile under the age of 16, you will need to accompany them for the duration of your visit. They will never be allowed to be left alone under circumstances. You need to be with your child the entire duration you are in the visiting area.
