However, unlike most of the county’s jails nowadays, the Tehama County Jail did not opt for their inmate roster to be available to the general public.
What does that mean to you?
That means you will have to contact the Tehama County Jail directly to find out the information you are looking for when it pertains to the inmate.
You will not be able to log on to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office website to find the information you are looking for. You will need to directly get in contact with the facility.

Sending Money
Inmates may request you to deposit money onto their books for a variety of reasons. The main reason why an inmate will ask you for money is so they can purchase various items they need/want from the Tehama County Jail commissary or what is also known as the canteen.
The commissary sells the following items:
-
Beverages
-
Snacks
-
Clothing
-
Entertainment Items
-
Personal Hygiene Care

Phone calls
The Tehama County Jail is like most other county facilities in a way that they only provide inmates one way to call home. For an inmate to call home, they will have to make a collect call.
Collect calls are not always the best as they are not cost-effective, but they also cannot be received on a cell phone. For you to receive a collect call, you will need to have a landline installed in your home.
You should also remember that you, the receiver of the phone call will be the party that is in charge for paying the fee for call from the Tehama County Jail.
Visitation
The Tehama County Jail offers its inmates to receive visitors on weekdays, Mondays through Fridays. Visitors are permitted to come into the Tehama County Jail between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm.

If you are bringing a juvenile under the age of 16, they will always need to be accompanied by you during the duration of the visit. You cannot leave the juvenile alone at any given time.
