About Montgomery County Youth Facility

The original Montgomery County Youth Facility was built back in the 1850s. The original Montgomery County Youth Facility has now been made into a museum.
They have built a newer facility that has all the bells and whistles. The new Montgomery County Youth Facility went to replace the original Montgomery County Youth Facility was burnt to the ground.
The Montgomery County Youth Facility is responsible for keeping inmates who are from Montgomery County as they are going through their trial process as well as when they serve their sentences.
Inmates in the Montgomery County Youth Facility are both male and female over the age of 18.

If you would like to get information on an inmate who is in the Montgomery County Youth Facility, you will need to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office directly.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be able to help you locate the correct information on the inmate in question. When contacting them, you will need to have the inmate’s date of birth along with their full name handy.

Sending Money
If you need to put money into the inmates account at the Montgomery County Youth Facility, you can stop by the facility lobby with a money order. The money order will then be added to the inmate’s accounts within a few business days.
If you do not live near the Montgomery County Youth Facility, you can send a check or a money order to the facility and they can then add the funds to the inmate’s account. You need to ensure the inmate’s name is on the funds you are sending.
Please do not send cash.
Phone calls
When an inmate is first brought into the Montgomery County Youth Facility, they will have to fill out a phone call approval list. This list will allow them to contact you while they are in the Montgomery County Youth Facility.
If an inmate does not know your telephone number when filling out this list, it is fine, they can add you later.
Inmates in the Montgomery County Youth Facility will be permitted to use the telephone from 7 am to 7:30 pm. They will not be permitted to use the telephone during counts throughout the day.
However, inmates will only be permitted to call you collect. You, the receiver will be the one responsible for the costs associated with the call.
Inmates will be able to make 30-minute phone calls home. However, during rush time, the calls will only be approved for 10-minutes.
Visitation
Again, when an inmate is first brought into the Montgomery County Youth Facility, they will have to fill out an approved visitor list. Inmates will need your information to put you on the list.
Keep in mind that you will need a government photo identification card with you to be permitted into the visitation room.
